The High River Legion, Branch 71 is centrally located and the perfect place for a small business to hold breakfast or lunch meetings, presentations, or team building seminars.
The Legion is also ideal for Christmas Parties, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthday Parties, and family get togethers. We also do Funeral teas and Celebrations of life.

We can provide your functions with a choice of everything from coffee, tea, and pastries for a small get together, a selection of soups and sandwiches for a more substantial lunch, to a full course meal for a large gathering.
Full bar service is also available.

Once completed and submitted, you will receive a copy of your submission by email. We will receive a copy by email. You can call or visit the branch to make payment arrangements and discuss other matters pertaining to your booking requirements. For funerals and celebration of life functions, Branch 71 Veteran members will not pay a facility fee. Branch 71 members will pay 50% of facility fee for all events.

Facility Rental Fees (as of May 2023)

  • Note: If an event is cancelled due to Health Regulations within 7 days of the event, there will be a 50% refund only.
  • A damage deposit of $100.00 is required. The charge will be refunded in whole or in part depending on the condition of premises. Cost of repairs for any damage over the amount of the damage deposit, will be charged to the Convener.
  • To ensure that the Client is fully satisfied. The Client shall advise us of the Final Headcount, no later than Five (5) Days prior to the event. If additional persons show up on the day of the event, the Client must be prepared for the possible consequences, (i.e.: Not Enough Seating or Food)
  • Decorating is the responsibility of the Convener. No scotch tape or pins can be used to hang decorations. A gummy substance that does not leave residue nor lifts paint can be used. All decorations must be taken down immediately after the event.
  • It will be the management of The Kitchen who will supply the Client with pricing of All Event Catering related expenses. Likewise, it will be that same management who will advise of pricing for any specialized and/or dietary foods, as well as the availability of such foods.
  • Health and AGLC requirement state that no outside food or drinks are allowed on the premises.
